Take care of the safety of your funds! Please read this guide carefully to learn how to prevent losses due to theft or other factors when using your wallet.
Here are main safety rules:
- Always make a backup of keystore file and keep it in a safe place, as well as private key. If you lose them we will not be able to recover them, and access to your wallet will be lost.
- Keep your private key as a complete secret. Nobody except you should know it.
- As an additional precautionary measure you may create a paper wallet, although, in accordance with the paragraph above, never and in no circumstances show anyone your private key
- Do allow data to leak from your device or browser.
What else you should know
You do not create an account in our service or transfer your funds to us. Our wallet is designed according to the principle of storing all critical data on the user’s side. This is for security reasons. The wallet only provides interaction with the blockchain.
Despite the fact that the wallet code has been thoroughly tested for security, and tens of thousands of wallets have already been created and successfully used around the world, there is a possibility that something unexpectedly happens that could lead to the loss of funds. If your funds are lost for any reason, we are not responsible for this.
